This super gorgeous, glamorous, and easy to wear headpiece was created for a photoshoot for an upcoming NYC theatrical production, and now she's available for purchase. She was never used in performance, due to the shutdown from Covid.
The fan is hand-made: I attached black lace to a wooden fan frame, then painted the lace gold and added the black silk flowers to the top. The base of this headpiece is thermoplastic - it's solid but soft and surprisingly light, and lined in blue velvet for extra comfort. Luxury black Chinese silk covers the base. Trim and metal filigree pieces also decorate the base, with Swarovski crystals and metallic fabric gold roses. An adjustable elastic strap attaches this piece easily to the head.
